SYNOPSIS: A girl and her brother celebrate her coming-of-age birthday in an unusual way.

This project was my quarantine baby. I received a Media Arts Grant from Northwestern's film department to produce this stop-motion short about an odd dream about my fear of birds.As difficult as it was to muster up the courage and motivation to work on a passion project during the past year, I solo worked on armatures, set design, model making, and animating. We shot the project in June of 2021, but it's still in post-production (due to a production overlap with Shelf Life). Though the final cut isn't finished, working on Adolescence was an amazing exercise in my set design ability.
